    • General Information

    Russian Risk Management Society (RusRisk) was established in 2003 with the aim of creating a market for risk management services and culture in Russia that meet the current global standards. It is the oldest professional association in the field of risk management in Russia and the CIS. The founders of the society were the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), the National Stock Association (NFA), the NBF Expert Institute, and the Moscow Association of Insurers (MAS). Today, the Company has more than 80 corporate and individual members.

    Activities

    • Organization and participation in national and international conferences, forums, exhibitions, and holding the annual international forum 'Risk Management in Russia and the CIS'.

    • Holding the annual competition 'Best Russian Risk Management', participation in the annual FERMA awards and publications 'Strategic Risk' and 'Business Insurance Europe'.

    • Promotion of the professional standard 'Risk Management Specialist' (approved by the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation on September 7, 2015, second edition August 30, 2018, order No. 564n) and the educational standard for universities.

    • Implementation of the "Voluntary Certification System for Risk Managers" (included in the Rosstandart Register in 2013). The RusRisk Certification Center was established (since 2014, national certificates have been issued to over 500 risk managers).

    • Marketing research and consulting activities

    • Development of national risk management standards in various economic sectors (European FERMA risk management standards have been adapted for enterprises, and the ISO 31000 international risk management standards have been translated). Since 2018, RusRisk, by order of Rosstandart, has been organizing the work of the Technical Committee "Risk Management" (TC010). During this period, more than 20 national risk management standards have been developed and implemented in Russia.

    • Organization of training, advanced training and certification of specialists in the field of risk management

    • Establishment of a Young Risk Manager Laboratory for students, postgraduates and young managers in risk management and insurance

    • The creation of a system in Russia for broad access to fundamental and cutting-edge information in the field of risk management: collections of case studies and articles on risk management have been published, articles are published in the journals “Problems of Risk Analysis,” “Financial Risks,” and “Modern Insurance Technologies,” a “Knowledge Base” section is maintained on the company’s website, information cooperation is maintained with Interfax, Expert RA, the journals “General Director,” “Risk Management,” “National Banking Journal,” and the Internet resources Prime, Finance, and others.
