Russian Risk Management Society (RusRisk) was established in 2003 with the aim of creating a market for risk management services and culture in Russia that meet the current global standards. It is the oldest professional association in the field of risk management in Russia and the CIS. The founders of the society were the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), the National Stock Association (NFA), the NBF Expert Institute, and the Moscow Association of Insurers (MAS). Today, the Company has more than 80 corporate and individual members.
RusRisk actively collaborates with colleagues within the European (FERMA) and international (IFRIMA) federations of risk management associations. We have established good contacts with the most influential and experienced organization, the Risk and Insurance Management Society of America (RIMS).
RusRisk representatives participate remotely in conferences and webinars of regional and national risk management associations and other organizations, as well as on social media.
In 2023, a RusRisk representative participated online in IFRIMA Board of Directors meetings, where current issues and prospects for the development of risk management and insurance globally were discussed
Unfortunately, our membership in FERMA is currently suspended, but we are committed to maintaining contacts with risk managers in Europe and worldwide. Our experts are also participating in the work of ISO Technical Committee 262 on the implementation of the new version of the ISO 31000 international standard and other relevant issues.
The Working Groups are permanent structures of the Russian Society for Risk Management (RusRisk), whose main purpose is to ensure the interaction of the Association's members with international institutions and organizations.
