RusRisk experts took part in the preparation of the XV issue of the National Report on Corporate Governance

The National Corporate Governance Report is an annual publication that tracks the evolution of corporate practices in Russia and abroad. The Nationalional Corporate Governance Report is prepared and presented to the general public by the National Corporate Governance Council (NCCG). In the new report, which consists of eight chapters, leading experts have analyzed key changes in risk management systems, HR policies, the structure of boards of directors, and the impact of the ESG agenda and digitalization on corporate culture.
Chapter II, “Trends in the Development and Main Directions for Improving Risk Management Systems in Non-Financial Companies in Russia” (pp. 51-95), prepared by RusRisk experts Irina Andropova, Viktor Vereshchagin, and Yuri Kostenko, occupies an important place in the 15th edition. It provides a comprehensive analysis of current risk management practices in Russian non-financial corporations.
The authors examine in detail the current challenges faced by companies in the context of high geopolitical and economic instability, as well as the industry-specific aspects. They also conduct a comparative analysis of the maturity level of risk management systems (RMS) in Russia and abroad. Based on their research, the experts offer specific recommendations for improving risk management and describe possible scenarios for its development.
The report also includes sections on corporate governance in the context of sustainable development (Chapter I), the transformation of corporate culture and values using the example of PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel (Chapters III and IV), the adaptation of HR approaches and long-term motivation systems in the IT sector (Chapters V and VI), and the global analysis of boards of directors and the institution of independent directors (Chapters VII and VIII).
The report is intended for members of boards of directors, top management, specialists in corporate governance, risk management, and sustainable development, as well as for anyone interested in current trends in the corporate sector.
