Results of the VI MGIMO and RUSRISK Student Conference

   On December 3, 2024, MGIMO hosted the sixth student conference within the framework of the joint project “Laboratory of a young Risk Manager” with RUSRISK. Conference topic: Risks of ESG transformation in the BRICS countries. Business Social Responsibility: best practices and solutions”.

The previous conferences were an important contribution of young researchers to the consideration of the problems of ESG risk management and the transformation of sustainable development in our country and the BRICS countries.

   More than 20 applications from students of several universities (MGIMO, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, HSE, RUDN University) were submitted to the Organizing Committee of the conference (with the participation of the President of RusRisk), 10 of them were allowed to speak at the conference. There was an interested discussion of presentations by young researchers on topical issues of corporate, social and environmental responsibility of business, primarily in the BRICS countries. According to the results of the voting of the members of the Organizing Committee, the best four presentations will be awarded with diplomas and certificates of RusRisk. The best research papers of the registered conference participants will be published in the peer-reviewed journals of the Higher Attestation Commission with publication in the RSCI.

The next student conference is scheduled to be held in May 2025.
