

On October 29, 2024, at the Institute for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations (FSBI VNII GOChS) The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations held a round table “Sustainability of municipalities and critical infrastructure facilities in emergency situations” with the support of RusRisk. It was attended by more than 40 representatives of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and Russian organizations (AFK Sistema, Kolmar Management Company, Russian-Chinese Chamber, NPO Ruspromexport, JSC LNG, Risk Profile LLC, VSS, RNPC, MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after.M.Gubkina and others).
The moderators of the round table were Yu.V.Kostenko, Vice-President of RUSRISK, and V.B.Moshkov, Deputy Head of the All-Russian Research Institute of GOChS. The President of RusRisk addressed the participants with an introductory speech.

Issues of methodology and practice in the field of assessing and forecasting the consequences of emergencies (emergencies), creating thematic maps of emergency risks, the impact of climate change conditions on the sustainability of municipalities and critical infrastructure facilities, the impact of digital transformation on the integrated safety of fuel and energy complex facilities, the practice of sustainable development of insurance organizations, calculating expected damage as a tool for assessing the economic consequences of man-made disasters were discussed. accidents in risk management, a climate risk map to assess the impact on the stability of the insurance market, and others.
According to the participants, such discussions should be continued, expanding the range of issues under consideration.
