About the RusRisk permanent seminar “Current issues of insurance protection for large industrial companies”
The permanent seminar of the Russian Society for Risk Management “Current issues of insurance protection for large industrial companies” continued on October 07, 2024 at the site of the Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
The topic of discussion was defined as “The practice of settling large losses“, the seminar was held in the form of a master class.
The moderator of the master class was I.B. Kotlobovsky, Head of the Department of Risk Management and Insurance at the Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
The seminar organizer, First Vice-President of RUSRISK, Doctor of Technical Sciences A.N. Elokhin, briefly informed the participants (students, undergraduates and teachers of the Faculty of Economics) about RusRisk, the main goals of the Company, and also emphasized the importance of insurance as a tool and an integral part of effective risk management.
The master class was conducted by renowned expert B.V. Osipov, who has more than 25 years of experience in settling insurance claims. He explained in detail his point of view on the features and nuances of the process, and gave numerous examples of real insurance claims (payments). for various types of insurance (fires, explosions, floods, etc.).
The master class was conducted by B.V. Osipov at a high professional level, aroused great interest and numerous questions from the participants.
A.N. Elokhin called on students and undergraduates of the Faculty of Economics to participate in the RusRisk Competition “The Best Risk Management in Russia – 2025” in the nomination “The best work of young scientists/students and young professionals”, and I.B. Kotlobovsky expressed confidence in the further development of cooperation between RusRisk and the Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
