About the MGIMO Student Conference

As part of the RusRisk project “Laboratory of a Young Risk Manager”, the 7th student Conference of undergraduates and postgraduates representing several leading Russian universities (MGIMO, MSU, RANEPA, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, etc.) was held in a mixed format at the MGIMO Department of Risk Management and Insurance on December 4, 2025. The theme of the conference was: “The risks of ESG transformation in the BRICS+ countries. Climate adaptation projects: goals, sources of financing, risks, results”.  The conference Organizing Committee selected about 20 submitted projects that address various aspects of climate adaptation from companies to the country level. As a result of the lively discussion, six of the best works were awarded. 

   The conference once again confirmed the relevance of holding such student conferences to introduce young people to scientific work and analytical work, the acquisition of important skills in their future careers.
