On June 25–26, 2026, the XXIII RusRisk Professional Forum was held in Kazan. The main topic of discussion this year was “Risk Management 2026: Transformation of Business Sustainability in the Era of Global Challenges”.
More than 120 risk management executives and specialists from industrial and transport companies, IT integrators, insurance and brokerage organizations, as well as professors from leading Russian universities, independent experts, and media representatives, participated in the Forum in person. During the panel discussions on the first day, participants discussed the effectiveness of risk management systems in the context of macroeconomic instability, the transformation of traditional risk management models and the development of an internal risk culture. The second day of the Forum was dedicated to international experience and technological transformation of risk management. A special guest of the plenary session was Yvonne Motibi, Executive Director of the Risk Management Institute of South Africa (IRMSA) and Secretary General of the International Federation of IFRIMA, who presented a report on the global prospects for cooperation in the field of risk management, including on the African continent.
The central theme of the first technology session, conducted by Alan Tsagolti, Syncretis Group, was “The Reefs and Hopes of digitalization.” The professional community discussed the dynamics of the introduction of artificial intelligence, practical experience in integrating GRC platforms in the banking sector, and automation of dynamic assessment of cyber risks as financial parameters of a business. The first session of the second day of the Forum was attended by Valentin Makarov, RUSSOFT Association, Ivan Voskanyants, T1 IT Holding, Tatiana Makarova, Keh Ecommerce LLC (Avito), Yulia Lipatnikova, Cloud Technologies LLC/ Cloud.ru , Elena Karanina, Vyatka State University.
As part of the subsequent specialized round table, moderated by Dmitry Virkunen, JSC PMSOFT, the participants reviewed the best practices for dealing with uncertainty in the implementation of large-scale construction projects using EPC/EPCM contract models. Next, the profile sections were replaced by Irina Andropova’s round table, RusRisk, where experts analyzed real-world cases of predictive risk management and overcoming the “culture of silence” from leading Russian corporations. The event concluded with the summation of the results of two days of work and a blitz-discussion in the format of an open dialogue between the participants and the management of ARM RusRisk. The proposals and analytical conclusions formulated as a result of the Forum will be used to further improve risk management standards and develop recommendations for improving the organizational stability of domestic business.
