The topic of the future conference is also related to the tasks of risk management of sustainable development and ESG transformation in the BRICS countries and is devoted to the problems of business social responsibility and the analysis of best corporate practices. 

The main topics of the conference:

• comparative analysis of social risks and the BRICS countries 
• best corporate practices in addressing UN SDGs 2,3,4, 11, 12, 16 and 17
• government programs to involve businesses in solving social problems of development of the country and regions
• ESG corporate transformation strategies in addressing social issues
• international and national ESG corporate ratings in terms of the social component.  

Students, undergraduates, and postgraduates of Russian and foreign universities are invited to participate in the conference. Participation in the conference is free of charge. Online access is provided for participants from regional universities. The conference language is Russian.

The conference’s Organizing Committee includes representatives of the MGIMO ICSD, the Russian Society for Risk Management Association (RusRisk), the Russian United Nations Associations and the MGIMO Economics Club.

The winners of the student paper competition will be awarded Diplomas from the Russian Society for Risk Management and the Organizing Committee, as well as a special prize from the conference sponsor.

The best research papers of the registered conference participants will be published in the peer-reviewed journals of the Higher Attestation Commission with publication in the RSCI.

Requirements for reports:

Novelty, concreteness, validity, and the mathematical component of substantiating the effectiveness of social risk management projects are welcome, and the number of authors is from 1 to 5 people.

By 18.00 Moscow time on November 29, 2024 inclusive, it is necessary to submit to the Organizing Committee of the conference at insurance@inno.mgimo.ru abstracts of the report (no more than 2 printed pages) or a draft presentation (10 slides) with research results. The maximum length of an article based on the report is 25 pages.
