A study of the maturity level of RMS in non-financial companies in Russia

In September 2023, RusRisk conducted an independent Study of the maturity of RMS in non-financial companies in Russia. The study was conducted anonymously by a recognized expert practitioner in the field of risk management in the format of a detailed interview with managers and professionals of risk management of the largest companies and holdings from 12 branches of Russia. During the interview, an analysis of key areas of companies’ activities was conducted, characterizing the degree of development and effectiveness of the risk management function.

The analysis allows us to draw conclusions about the average maturity level of RMS in non-financial companies in Russia in accordance with the best practices and the integrated approach of RusRisk, as well as to provide recommendations on the implementation and development of an effective risk management system in the organization. The proposed recommendations can help to form plans for the development of a risk management system in large companies and relevant key performance indicators.
